I've read that the ISIS or "Islamic State" movement is actively destroying ancient archeological sites and libraries, a bit like the Taliban in Afghanistan shelled the Buddha statues, but probably on a larger scale. So your work may one day document stuff we never got around to salvage "on the ground".
